As an enthusiastic entrepreneur, Ramona has a 29-year track record of delivering excellent business results for a variety of companies by leveraging strong brands or creating new ones. As founder of Corazonas, she launched a company whose vision is to put joy back into the lives of those who are living with high cholesterol by offering great tasting, heart healthy snacks. After losing her father and both grandfathers to heart disease, Ramona committed to building a caring company that takes a new approach to addressing and educating Americans about heart disease.
She has uniquely woven together her passions for advocacy and entrepreneurship to create Corazonas Foods, a company that manufactures the only line of great tasting, heart-healthy snacks that are clinically proven to lower cholesterol. She was most recently a senior executive with Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Company, where she led the company’s growth until the sale to Hershey Foods, delivering the second highest IRR in the history of The Shansby Group. Additionally, Ramona delivered outstanding results for food and beverage companies including Nestle, Celestial Seasonings and Kendall-Jackson Wineries.
She graduated as valedictorian from the University of Southern California, School of Business Administration. When Ramona is not traveling the world experiencing history and gaining inspiration, she spends her free time actively involved with Young Presidents Organization, the University Southern California on both the Board of Governors and the Board of Marshall Partners. She also serves on the Board of Catholic Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Los Angeles.
CAROL HEAD
Owner & President, Oliver's Artisan Breads, San Fernando, CA
Carol is the Owner and President of Oliver’s Artisan Breads, a wholesale baker of certified organic specialty breads. Oliver's has developed a reputation for quality, innovative, breads, baking for demanding customers like Whole Foods, American Airlines first class worldwide, the Patina Group, and Bon Appetit.
Prior to Oliver's, Carol was president of a management consulting firm, advising companies in the areas of strategic planning, marketing and business plan development. During the dot com boom, she served as senior vice president of marketing for Hollywood.com and BizRate.com/Shopzilla.com. Carol also spent eight years as an executive at the Los Angeles Times in a variety of marketing and strategy roles. She served as associate vice president of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wellesley College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and earned an MBA from Stanford University.
Carol has been advocate for women and girls, serving on the board of the Los Angeles Women’s Foundation and was a founding board member of Women’s Enews (www.womensenews.org). Carol also serves on the board of Women Thrive Worldwide (www.womenthrive.org) a Washington DC-based organization that helps shape US policies so that women in the developing world can lift themselves out of poverty. Carol is founding co-chair of Project Redwood (www.projectredwood.org), a new venture philanthropy fund which supports creative approaches to alleviating extreme global poverty.
Carol lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two teenage sons.
JACKIE KELLER
Founding Director of NutriFit, LLC
Jackie Keller, Founding Director of NutriFit, LLC, is a licensed and certified wellness coach, nutrition educator and Le Cordon Bleu-trained culinary expert. She is also the author of Body After Baby: The Simple 30-Day Plan to Lose Your Baby Weight Fast (Avery/Penguin Group; May 2007), and Cooking, Eating & Living Well, a cookbook and guide to nutrition-related lifestyle change.
Jackie and her partner/husband Phil Yaney, formed NutriFit LLC in 1987. NutriFit specializes in fresh, gourmet, customized and delivered meal programs that are tailored to accommodate an individual’s health and lifestyle needs. Their goal is to promote long-term health by providing full service nutritional support, including delicious, gourmet meals, wellness coaching, and health-related products.
NutriFit manages hundreds of clients’ personal preferences and health issues. With over 2,200 NutriFit recipes, “we are far from your standard catering company,” says Jackie. “Ours is a comprehensive approach to understanding the needs of each client - taking into account their goals, nutritional needs, allergies, likes and dislikes, exercise regimen and family health history.”
Jackie’s father passed away from a heart attack when she was just a teenager. She has made it her mission to help people live longer and healthier lives. “I have a personal commitment to help people circumvent heart disease and other chronic ailments,” she explains. “It drives almost everything I do. It is my passion.”
As a certified wellness coach, Jackie conducts one-on-one sessions both in person and virtually, during which clients set achievable goals in six “wellness” areas: fitness, weight, nutrition, stress, health, and the life issues that impact health. Over the course of three months, she reports that clients typically reach 80% of their first priority goals and more than 70% of second priority goals.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, and received her culinary training from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France.

Darya founded Broads Circle in 2008 with the goal of creating an exclusive network of businesswomen and the professionals who work with them. The networking meetings began as invitation-only bimonthly breakfasts featuring guest speakers such as C-level women executives who shared their insights and lessons from the field. Since then, the membership has steadily grown and Broads Circle has added evening cocktail events featuring nationally recognized speakers.
With 22 years of experience in financial services, Darya's forte is strategic wealth management for families and foundations. She is a CPA and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and obtained her MBA from Fordham University. Darya has taught as an adjunct professor of Finance at New York University and has authored many financial planning articles.
Darya is married with three children, lives in Pacific Palisades, CA, and currently serves on the Board of the Westside YMCA, in addition to her position as Broads Circle Founder and Chairwoman.
